The Department of Urology in Hijaz Hospital is one of the few tertiary referral centers for the whole of Punjab and Pakistan where, we are performing highly specialized procedures for the management of Urethral & Ureter Strictures, and in the field of Endoscopic Stone Surgery. It was started in September 2000. The staff of the department comprises of two full time Consultant, one visiting Consultants and three Medical Officers.
We are specially dealing with V.V.F repair, Gynecology-Urological Procedures, male reproductive health and renal transplant surgery.
The department is equipped with state of the art equipment for endoscopic management of ureteric and urethral strictures and stones.
The department is planning to extend its services in Endo-urology by obtaining a new poly scope, Uro-dynamic system and the latest version of lithoclast.
