Over the past decades, Hijaz Hospital has established itself as a centre of excellence providing comprehensive care free of cost to millions of indigent patients. This pioneering, state-of-the-art Hospital located in the heart of the Punjab was founded by Haji Inam Elahi Asar & Mian Abdul Waheed. As a charitable institute, it is funded predominantly from the donations of friends and well-wishers from around the country and across the world.
Hijaz Hospital, Lahore is non-commercial, non-profit and charitable organization. Dream of a Hospital realized started its journey from 1979 and now evolved in to a 210 beded Hospital. Based on the developments and achievements and dreams realized of its founder project director, Chairman and its executive members recognizing the services of the institution. The dynamic and devoted leader was awarded “Tamgha-e-Imtiaz” by the government of Pakistan. For his long lasting philanthropist services Hijaz Hospital Lahore today it has a five story building and adequately equipped with latest machinery and most advanced facilities including General Outdoor and Indoor services, General Surgery, Pediatrics Recovery, Urology, Diabetes, Dental, Emergency outdoors, Gynecology, Obstetrics, Labor Room Orthopedics, Psychiatry and Skin diseases, Free medical camp, Pathology, operation Theater, Eye, ENT, Physiothiepy, Dialysis, X-Rays and Ultrasound. The emergency cases are dealt round the clock.
Foreign qualified and highly paid specialists are serving in the Hospital. At present we have in house 32 consultants, 5 honorary consultants of different specialization and top reputation are providing free medical facilities to the poor patients. Besides specialists a dedicated team of around 200 medical and para-medical staff are serving for the human cause. Most of the patients approaching the Hospital belong to poor class and they are provided free of cost quality treatment, whereas rest is dealt at very concessional rates. All the deserving patients are being provided free medicines. Zakat is spent on them after their recommendations by Welfare Sharia Department deciding cases on spot.
From 2014 to 2022, Millions OPD patients were provided quality health care facilities. To improve our services we have advisors in medical, Management and Finance always contributing to be better.
