Department of general surgery provides inpatient and emergency services for a wide array of general surgical problems. Our team of General surgeons perform both open and laparoscopic surgery.
EMERGENCY SERVICES:
We provide emergency services for the management of trauma patients and other surgical emergencies, In the emergency room initially patient is assessed and managed by the causality medical officer. General Surgeon, orthopedic surgeon, urologist, and plastic surgeon are available on call basis and visit the patient if called by the causality medical officer.
SURGICAL INTENSIVE CARE SERVICES:
Department of general surgery provide surgical intensive care to critically ill surgical patients. In the surgical Intensive care Unit patients are managed by a team of experts.
LAPAROSCOPIC SURGERY:
Our General surgeons are routinely performing laparoscopy (Key hole surgery) for the diseases of appendix, gall bladder and repair of hernias. Diagnostic laparoscopy is routinely performed for the diagnosis of complex abdominal diseases
